About
A small cosmic page for the things that don't fit one sentence.
What this is
The centre is a well. Around it are zones for the kinds of wishes that need somewhere quieter than the rest of the internet — a place to hold a wish, a place to light a paper crane for someone you've lost, a place to keep a candle burning for the long vigil.
Wishes cast into the well become stars. They are public: a first name, the words, and a country. Nothing else.
What it costs
Casting a wish into the visible constellation starts at $5. The daily Vigil in the Grieving wing is free. Everything else — a named star, a memorial candle, a printed postcard, a recording of your wish spoken aloud — is priced on its own page before you decide anything.
Every purchase is covered by a thirty-day refund policy, no questions asked, with three narrow exceptions for things already made and sent.
No account
There is no account and no password. An email address is needed when you cast a wish, so your receipt and any reminder you asked for can reach you. You can ask for all of it to be deleted at any time — see the privacy policy.
The three wings
Hoping holds wishes the speaker can't say out loud yet. Grieving is the daily Vigil for fresh loss. Remembering is the long vigil for names carried across years, with memorial candles and named stars that persist.
If the cosmos won't load
The 3D cosmos is the canonical experience but not the only one. The lite version keeps the well, the stream and every purchase page on a simple phone-friendly page that needs no WebGL and no JavaScript.
What this is not
This is not a wish-granting service. It is for entertainment and symbolic purposes only. Wishes are not delivered to any entity, blessed, or processed. Nothing here is a prize, a sweepstake, or a chance to win anything. The value is in the small ritual of casting, not in any promise of return.
Who runs it
The Internet's Wishing Well is operated by Jakub R. · Garnet Grid Consulting LLC. It is small. There is no support ticket queue and no boilerplate apology generator — a real person reads hello@theinternetswishingwell.com and answers in a real voice, usually within two days.
